You can run Zoom on your mobile phone (Iphone or Android), a tablet (Apple, Windows or Android) as well as PC (Windows, Linux and MAC). You can run from a browser, but it is best to install zoom.
- To install: https://zoom.us/download. You need to install “Zoom for meetings”. Follow the instructions on the website.
- Test: If you have not tried Zoom before, it is advisable to test if the microphone is working.
- Meeting link: You have received a meeting link in this notice (It is similar to this: https://zoom.us/j/123456789). Click on the meeting link before your meeting begins. The meeting room usually opens one quarter before the meeting begins.
- PIN: Acem does NOT usually use a PIN, but if we do, it will be in the notice you received.
- Mute: This means you turn off your microphone. Unmute: Turn it on when you say something in the meeting. It is best to have the microphone on “MUTE” when you are not talking, then it will be best sound for everyone in the meeting.
- Video: It's nice to have your camera turned on during the meeting. If you choose not to, please turn it on when you say something or ask a question.
